I asked this the other day when somebody brought it up. I don't. I write so few checks. I look at my bank account info constantly. I use mostly credit cards. So I know what's going on. I suppose if I were writing dozens of checks each month, I would. But who uses checks anymore?

Remember: CHIHUSIMEET on 7/14 chez gzt.

Print Story somebody on the cleaning staff with sticky fingers?
I haven't been using my Ipod lately because I was feeling a bit of hearing loss in my left ear - I think it was compacting earwax or something. I think I left it at work at my desk. It was an old one so had very little value. I can't seem to find it. I glanced around at home and I didn't see it, but I didn't look in depth. Hmph.

Print Story The Wire: Season 3, Episode 8, "Moral Midgetry" - wait for it those who doubt

I just watched this episode.  For those who don't demand the instant gratification those who doomed Capria (CYLONS NOW!!! PEW PEW PEW PEW!!), please be patient to this episode.  This is when why people who loved The Wire (including the mayor of Rejkavik, Iceland), begin to make sense.   I wish more had the patience to wait for great dramatic payoffs.
