So we're fairly hot here at work, and we had previously blamed the fact that we were by the south-facing windows and there was an odd partition right across the hallway from us which reduced air circulation, but today was warm enough that we decided to holler at the facilities people.

This makes me happy: TRAP! I've been Admiral Ackbaring for the last 24 hours or so.

In the free newspaper they hand out in this city today, there was a 64 person television character bracket competition thingy. I watched a couple on the train fill it out and at one point (I think Final Four) they got to Barney Stinson vs. Don Draper. They made the wrong choice.

I gave Enterprise every concievable chance. I waited, watching it until the third season. There are some that say it improved right at the end, but even I couldn't stomach it long enough to watch those episodes. And, is it unfair to say maybe the compliments were only possible in contrast to the steaming pile that was the sum of Enterprise up to that point?

The two people most responsible for flushing Star Trek down the toilet are Rick Berman and Brannon Braga. If they had an ounce of sense...
