So we're watching season 1 of The Simpsons. I have the week off from class. We hit some classics. I don't think it really hits its stride until season 2, but it's still hilarious and somewhat revolutionary. As I've said before, it's the sort of show that you can't really appreciate if you weren't around at the time it was coming out because it changed everything.
And hope you all did, too. I was, alas, unable to be at Hog Stock, except in the sense that rmg was at CBB's HusiStock, except in the sense that nobody wrote a fictionalized narrative with me sneaking in. However, I did have a long dinner with some good friends who had chocolate from Hotel Chocolat in London. And the sausages we ate probably had pork in them, so that counts.
Got my new computer. And 50' of CAT5e cable. I ran it from my computer to the door of my roommate's bedroom and, when I saw him, asked him to plug it into the router in his room when he got a chance. So, this morning, I got up and saw he had taken his end of the coil into his room, so I plugged my end into the computer. Still nothing. Hrm.
