Print Story somebody on the cleaning staff with sticky fingers?
I haven't been using my Ipod lately because I was feeling a bit of hearing loss in my left ear - I think it was compacting earwax or something. I think I left it at work at my desk. It was an old one so had very little value. I can't seem to find it. I glanced around at home and I didn't see it, but I didn't look in depth. Hmph.

Can you almost scratch the top of your knee without bending over? Or do you have trouble getting the change out of the bottom of your pockets?

Okay, that's really more a question of relative torso length, but I am interested and don't want you to have to break out the measuring tape.

Incidentally, I have trouble digging change out of my pockets. My arms are objectively long, since I'm pretty big, but they're short for my body.

So, I have finals this week. Two classes. The one today won't be too tough, but the one on Wednesday might be a little rough. Fortunately, I don't need to get above the mid-80s in either.

“It’s not my nature to complain, but so far today we’ve have three movies, two filmstrips, and an hour and a half of magazine time.  I just don’t feel challenged.” – Lisa Simpson
“Of course we could make things more challenging, Lisa.  But then the stupider students would be in here complaining, furrowing their brows in a vain attempt to understand the situation.” – Principal Skinner

The Aubrey-Maturin books are going to have to compress themselves in time to work out. I just finished the sixth, The Fortune of War, which takes place during the War of 1812. That makes it, uh, 1812. The first book in the series starts in the year 1800. The nineteenth and penultimate book, The Hundred Days, must take place during Napoleon's Hundred Days in 1815. That means 14 books in three years.

I decided I need to have the entire Aubrey/Maturin series, so I went on amazon.com and bought the used copies of every book I could find for under $5 (including shipping). At first, I just wanted to get enough of the ones with fulfillment by amazon so that I could get free shipping, but then I decided to just pull the trigger on all of the ones I could find for less than an arbitrary price point - less than $5 with free shipping, less than $1 with $3.98 shipping. I ended up getting 13 books for just under $52.
