I made bean burritos last night

garlic reminded me that the NATO/G8 protests coming up in May will likely be very annoying. Not only will there be anarchists, but there will be police as well. Not sure which I dislike more. Probably the police, since the police will shoot you if they have to, and their definition of "necessity" can sometimes be fairly lax. They can arrest you and charge you with a felony if you videotape them or record them without their consent (up to 15 years per count!). They can club you on the head and pepper spray you for almost any reason during what can be called a protest without any fear of recourse. Anarchists just smell bad and muck up traffic. Sometimes they might break a window.

I wish I had this book while growing up. I would have enjoyed it. However, I sucked my thumb to gain access to the oil of the salmon of knowledge, so the book's warning may not have deterred me.
