Exactly 10 years today ago I stood waiting to cross Campbell Parade over to the beach where the light at Curlewis was red. My then-wife and I noticed the German T-shirt the Abo guy also standing there was wearing. We commented to each other in German and he recognised some of what we were saying. That was the day I met Alan Dargin, the world's most famous didgeridoo player. One day later he taught me to play.
