I don’t have much. Not much changes these days.

I last did a diary entry in August. Really not much has changed. So just saying hi.

I took the Thursday prior to Christmas through New Year off. The Friday before my time off I developed sciatic nerve pain which went away after about four days, but that night I twisted in my sleep and had an “oh fuck” moment. Went from sciatic nerve pain to a torn muscle. I’m now on week two of back pain. I’m lucky to sleep for a couple hours at a time. It’s been a great week off.

Christmas is not my holiday. Hasn’t been since I was a kid. The whole rejection of Christianity thing had a big hand in it. A couple years ago I started studying Judaism and that finished things off. I haven’t converted and I can’t say that I ever will, but Judaism fits the philosophy and theology I built over years of studying everything except Judaism.

The only other thing I have going on is that I need to write an hour long training presentation covering coaching and mentoring, I need to have it complete prior to the end of the month.

I am back to work today, our 2022 calendar by georgeha (2.00 / 0) #1 Tue Jan 04, 2022 at 10:31:02 AM EST
is very different this year. The only four day weekend I get is Thanksgiving, but for the first time in a long time (and maybe forever) I get King Day, Juneteenth and Veteran's Day off.

I haven’t looked. I know we get MLK Day odd and the major holidays. Can’t say where they land. I became a full time telecommuter when the pandemic landed and now everything is weird around holidays.
