Overall picture
Another record low. Lockdowns and endless work really cut down my reading time.
Pretty depressing.
Highlights
Best non fiction books were definitely "Poilu" and "Three Days In June": searing portrayals of war from the point of view of the average soldier.
Best science fiction was definitely "A Deadly Education" by Naomi Novik, a cynical new take on the magical school genre.
Other fiction: the children's book "Charmed Life" for charming a new generation.
That's it! Hopefully next year will be able to get some more reading done.
