Overall picture
Another record low. Lockdowns and endless work really cut down my reading time. Pretty depressing.

Best non fiction books were definitely "Poilu" and "Three Days In June": searing portrayals of war from the point of view of the average soldier.

Best science fiction was definitely "A Deadly Education" by Naomi Novik, a cynical new take on the magical school genre.

Other fiction: the children's book "Charmed Life" for charming a new generation.

That's it! Hopefully next year will be able to get some more reading done.

Podcasts were my driving to work thing and ugh...I don't do that any more.

Commute by TheophileEscargot (2.00 / 0) #2 Mon Jan 03, 2022 at 06:35:53 AM EST
Work seems to have just sucked up much of the commute time. Plus I have to take the kid to school anyway so I still have to be out at a particular time.
