Country in turmoil, OECD rates us again in recession.

Shit budget that doesn't really change anything.

Have the suicidal green taxes been dropped?  No.  Has income tax been dropped across the board?  No.
Bonfire of quangos?  No.
Cuts in state spending?  No.

The budget was fiscally neutral; minor gains for the rich, minor losses for the middle, miniscule gains for the working poor.

We're still over a trillion pounds in debt, as a country, do we have a Government lined up that is making bold moves to increase the growth of our industry?  Far ranging and bold initiatives to increase consumer confidence and encouragement for the SME's that make up the bulk of our employment?

Do we have a credible Opposition, making radical waves of protest, with credible lines on how the Government are going wrong and how they'd fix it, with independantly sourced data and analysis on how to increase our growth and reduce our deficit?

No, we have the big hitters of both parties telling us how much they love pasties. (Sorry for DM link but it's the best one where they're all in it together).

Now, don't get me wrong, I love my pasties and sausie rolls at least as much as the other man.

But there's a fucking global recession on, have you noticed?  There's a default crisis in Euroland that is slowly being kicked down the road (and heaven help us all if Italy and Spain go the way of Greece), there's a whole lot more stuff going on than fucking PASTIES right now.

I used to think the Tories put up a shit Opposition to Blair; the current shower in NuLabia are trying to give them a run for their money.

In Bradford, that Stalinist cockend Galloway got elected.  Much as I dislike the man (met him once) he's given the 2.5 parties a bloody nose.

And I wonder how that'll play out next time.

In 2015, people will still hate NuLabia, for various reasons.  NuLabia are also swelling the hatred of the Evil Babee Eating Toreeeez and the perfidious LibDems.

2015 - lowest turnout of electorate, and those that do turn out, will vote outside the 2.5.

About time.  Just hope that the Watermelons don't get more MPs, is all.  Nor a breakthrough for the far left BNP.
