So I'll quickly retype. PSU invited me to their information day. "This invitation is extended to applicants with offers or high on our waiting list." I don't have an offer, so I presume I'm high on the waiting list. They're my top choice, so if I get accepted there, I am definitely going.

It could fit with the VTech trip. Would've fit more conveniently with a VTech trip on the previous week, but that day was taken at VTech.

Will think about it. Would have to skip a lot of class and I feel like I really need to be in class for the ANOVA class.

Watched Sherlock last night. The Baskerville one.

Work is workful about hiring somebody to replace my retiring colleague. We were ready to make an offer and now they're considering whether they want to replace retiring colleague at all. If they don't, we're doomed and we're all out. I already have a planned exit, of course, but nobody else needs to know that yet.

I am Sherlocked.

I am behind in coursework.

I am coming down with a cold. I have a headache. This is not very good.

This snow is also not very good.

I need a nap.

PSU is the furthest east midwest school I know of by georgeha (2.00 / 0) #1 Fri Feb 24, 2012 at 11:54:24 AM EST
and they're in the Big T^H^HEl^H^HTwelve.

The oldest watched Sherlock the other day, with only three episodes available on Netflix it's easy to get current.

which three are on netflix? by gzt (2.00 / 0) #2 Fri Feb 24, 2012 at 11:57:15 AM EST
this season or last season?

we are a bit sad that, after the next one, we're all out of sherlock.

Unlike the promised Big Lebowski, they're there for me to upload now if you want them.

and are on s2, since s2 was just aired and s1 is on DVD. I was just curious about what Netflix offered.

I"m not sure by georgeha (2.00 / 0) #4 Fri Feb 24, 2012 at 12:13:54 PM EST
the one I caught glimpses of had Sherlock find some well loved sneakers and a guy trying insurance fraud by moving to Columbia.

looks like S1, that's the finale by gzt (2.00 / 0) #6 Fri Feb 24, 2012 at 12:22:58 PM EST
You should watch the show. It's great. Or at least try the first episode and see what you think.

I'm still on Eccleston by georgeha (2.00 / 0) #7 Fri Feb 24, 2012 at 12:26:26 PM EST
and there's a few earlier Doctors on Netflix I have to watch before I consider a new series.

fair enough by gzt (2.00 / 0) #8 Fri Feb 24, 2012 at 12:28:49 PM EST
with a total of 6 90-minute episodes, though, the burden isn't that much. it's like 6 movies.

if you start with the "We Are" chants, then I am going have to reconsider reading your future diaries.

I hate sports besides ones I play in. I hate crowds and group-think even more.

That jogs my memory. Our old e-friend who received Holy Orders is now installed in upstate NY, which isn't that far from PSU.

adds an element of suspense to your diaries.

the word on the street... by gzt (2.00 / 0) #13 Fri Feb 24, 2012 at 06:28:43 PM EST
...is that if you don't have an offer and got the e-mail, you're on the wait list.

so there is a real bit of suspense there.

Baskerville was the worst of the lot, imo. Sherlock was off his game.

baskerville was okay by gzt (2.00 / 0) #17 Sun Feb 26, 2012 at 03:52:07 PM EST
I think the chinese one was the weakest of the lot.

The china-themed ep was orful, and I LIKED seeing Sherlock fumble in Baskerville.
