The kitchen is now mostly set up, or at least areas are demarcated for their purposes. I still have not figured out how to get the wine cooler thing to work. Perhaps something is wrong with it. It's probably out of warranty. Hey, it's not mine, it came with the place. Another review of a similar product. So it looks like we can expect the wine cooler not to work. Great, that space could have been used for more cupboards or something. I wouldn't trouble the landlord with it.
While waiting for the next book of the Song of Ice and Fire series, I picked up my copy of Quicksilver. I'm about 170 pages in and I am enjoying it, so I might be able to make it through the 2400 pages of the series if I blitz it. I hope they don't spend much time on the ship, since I'm used to a rather high standard of writing about 18th century English ships. And, by the way, I also hope they don't spend much more time on ships in Song of Ice and Fire for the same reason, though, obviously, the technology is quite different.
My ear buds died again. It has been about 7 months. I'm too lazy to try to cash in the warranty, it's easier to just spend $9.99 now. I'm sure if I were nicer to them they would last longer.
Doings maths and taking names. That's what I'm doing.
I figure I might as well do some neck training. My neck could definitely be a little bigger.
I think I'll buy the books for myself. It's my birthday this week, after all.
I'm having trouble looking at my UPS tracking for the ear buds. Oh well.
