Print Story Wot I read in 2010
189 books read, 21 repeats though and I seem to have gone through the last Harry Dresden Changes three times which may or may not be a recommendation. The Cressida Cowell "How to..." books aren't exactly heavyweight either.

Several Colditz books following the rerun of the BBC series on "Yesterday" with one more (Reinhold Eggers book from the German viewpoint) waiting for Amazon to get stock, and Pillars of the Earth and World Without End from the TV version of PotE, otherwise no special trigger events. Some series got reread from the top when a new volume came out, and a handful were ebooks, mostly from Baen free CDs which I'll generally buy when the paperback comes out.

On with the amazing page-lengthening list...

Lots of Jim Butcher by TheophileEscargot (2.00 / 0) #1 Sat Jan 01, 2011 at 11:54:48 AM EST
I've caught up with him now, can't read any more till he's finished writing them.

What did you think of "The Fuller Memorandum"? Haven't read it yet, been a bit disappointed by Stross' more recent books.

Two Butchers in the queue by Vulch (4.00 / 1) #2 Sat Jan 01, 2011 at 01:16:13 PM EST
Side Jobs paperback is due around March, haven't seen a hardback over here yet, Ghost Story hardback due in April.
The Fuller Memorandum is probably the weakest of the Laundry series though not by much, and I preferred it to the Merchant Whatever series.

I love you list. by purr (2.00 / 0) #3 Tue Jan 04, 2011 at 04:24:42 PM EST
I tried doing a list for last year and I lost track around May.  I wish you would have rated it all.  ;)

I just need to write the code.

I've been working on http://www.readshelf.com/ for about 4 years now, one day I'll finish it. The webcam barcode reader isn't working at the moment due to barcodepedia going away, but the rest of it ought to cope with registering and typing ISBNs (10 or 13 digit versions) in if you want to play.

I can't wait for you to finish it either. by purr (2.00 / 0) #5 Wed Jan 05, 2011 at 12:35:08 AM EST
I'm always looking for a new author and book to read.
