In case anybody was misled by garlic's comments.

Nor will I ever have any. I'm that straight edge.

I finished reading everything on http://www.abadcaseofthedates.com . Unfortunate. It was highly enjoyable.

She and Him was an enjoyable show. It's not the greatest music, frankly, but it's quite pleasant and entertaining. Teh Wife remarked, and I agree, that the appeal to hipsters is more about the image of Zooey Deschanel than the music.

Speaking of tattoos, we saw a woman with tattoos on the train that seemed to go all the way up her rather short shorts. One looked like some sort of lactating mermaid. Really, it looked like the mermaid was squeezing her breasts and stuff was coming out. Whatte the swyve? It was high enough on her legs, though, that it could be easily covered if she wanted to do so.

The pop machine seem to be popping out extras. I did not notice there was a Coke Zero sitting in the dispenser tray and ordered a Cherry Coke Zero - two came out. So I gave away the extra two to coworkers. Free pop FTW.

Crap, they want salary stuff analyzed here? Bloody hell. I have to run a special report to do that.

Apparently Teh Wife has gotten my TrueProtein package. Huzzah. [crude comment redacted]

My default method of texting people is to go to my inbox and reply to one of their texts. By people, I mean Teh Wife. I sometimes get paranoid that I'm accidentally sending a text intended for Teh Wife to somebody else I've texted recently. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Interesting: http://www.pocketmod.com/v2/ I can't get the weather widget to work. It's a great idea: customize a thingy to print out, fold up, and carry with you in your pocket to jot down notes and transfer later to your electical devices. Print a new one every day or whatever. Can include a weather forecast and a sudoku.

I feel like I'm really big sometimes.

Company is having some $DIVISION Olympics tomorrow. I'm doing tug-of-war, softball, and kickball. I'm going to dominate at softball. Somebody in the department also organized a friendly softball game a couple weeks from now. Again, I'm going to dominate. I can hit the ball very hard, sprint pretty fast, and throw pretty far compared to everybody else around here. I plan on hitting two home runs tomorrow. Just watch. I'll do even better in two weeks because it will be a full game rather than a 55 minute game. I'll let you know how I manage.

i'm not a straight edge. But i'd never have tattoos.

I'm terrified of needles.

But I fear commitment, just can't imagine an image I'm sure I'll enjoy seeing for the next 40, 50 years.

I like mine by lm (2.00 / 0) #13 Tue Jun 08, 2010 at 06:08:48 PM EST
But it needs to be expanded a bit. Someday this will happen.

Well, it's on my chest by lm (2.00 / 0) #22 Wed Jun 09, 2010 at 06:28:08 PM EST
The only time it gets seen in public is when I go swimming.

To expand it into a sleeve would be a bit odd and, more importantly, not something I'm terribly interested in doing.

protein powder by MillMan (2.00 / 0) #3 Tue Jun 08, 2010 at 04:36:08 PM EST
I think you mentioned  this previously, but do you know where I can get straight up whey protein without any flavor additives and (hopefully) no other additives for that matter?

TrueProtein. by gzt (2.00 / 0) #4 Tue Jun 08, 2010 at 04:47:55 PM EST
Dirt cheap straight up whey. http://trueprotein.com Okay, they have soy lecithin, it looks like. If that's okay, then you're golden.

Good customer service and delivery times. Shipping is a tad expensive, but it's what UPS charges. The lame experience I had ordering from them is a result of errors on my end, not theirs (not being there to take the package).

Which one did you buy?

I bought this: by gzt (2.00 / 0) #14 Tue Jun 08, 2010 at 06:18:52 PM EST

If you want less, buy this: http://www.trueprotein.com/Product_Details.aspx?cid=22&pid=6740 And select appropriate options (unflavored and unsweetened if that's what you want). You may want the WPC/WPI or Ultra blend instead, but I don't really think it's necessary.

just stubble. Not cool stubble, but lazy stubble.

that I've started dashing off comments in a off-handed manner and hitting post. These comments  don't always convey the full meaning of my thoughts. Mostly I don't think this matter's much (it's just the internets) but occasionaly I regret them afterwards. Like above.

I have stubble not because I'm cool, but because I'm lazy. And because I have facial hair like a 14 year old, it isn't even accidentally cool.

I agree about the show. The small time bands from recent columbia college grads that I've been going to have been slightly similar in style but better songs (for my taste anyway), but because they don't have a famous person in them, they're still small time.

I also had some misunderstanding about the stage at millenium park. I expected that we'd be able to see it (disregarding people standing) sitting on the lawn. That was not the case.

There's Cherry Coke Zero? I allow myself two pops a week, max, and usually only one. Inevitably it's Coke Zero just because I need some carbonation every once in a while. If I had known there was Cherry Coke Zero. . . time to update the shopping list.

Also, Zooey. I will offer redacted thumbs up.

That's WAshington, not Western Australia.

It's a good mixer with vodak, if you drink.
