Well, that just makes her even more awesome than she already was. Unfortunately, the DVD had something wrong with it and I could not watch the last scene. This is not good.

I think I will indeed, at some point, shave off the beard and keep a moustache. Maybe for an entire week. I am the next Tom Selleck. Tom Selleck > Steve McQueen in some ways, but both are awesome. However, Tom Selleck vs Harrison Ford? Tom Selleck had to pass up the role of Indiana Jones for his Magnum role. I would like to think that Tom Selleck would have been able to avert the disaster that was the last Indiana Jones film.

Man, I am so much stronger now than I was at that powerlifting meet 2 months ago.

I watched a lot of the coverage of weightlifting nationals this weekend. It was pretty awesome. Most divisions weren't particularly competitive. It was often a handful of people who made a few kilos more than the qualifying total and then a couple people who were a bit stronger and then an international class athlete following him/herself for all three attempts (in weightlifting, you get three attempts and the bar is loaded progressively - if nobody chooses a weight between your attempts, you follow yourself). A few of the international class athletes didn't bother coming, possibly because they had just come back from the Pan Am games two weeks ago and are prepping for Worlds in a couple months.

I tore a callus on my hand on Friday while catching a snatch. That was not pleasant. It interfered with training.
