I'm responding to this benchmarking survey and am realizing that some of the questions are more complicated than they seem at first glance. Drat.
More Tea Party crap: Useful idiocy...
Something about the climate change bill: http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2010/10/11/101011fa_fact_lizza?currentPage=all Note this bit: With five Republicans, getting sixty votes would be relatively easy. This is what I hate about modern politics. Everything now requires a supermajority because you have to be able to break the filibuster. This is not good. Also note how McCain is now a terrible politico: he couldn't sponsor or vote for the climate bill because he has to get re-elected. But everybody does this. Life is hard these days. Ugh, dislike Republicans. Dislike politics.
Still waiting. Should hear quite soon. Have not been rejected yet, at least. Might send a note this afternoon, but it's not like they've forgotten.
My feet and calves were wont to cramp last night. I'll have to check on that.
I want out.
Training is going okay. Mostly holding steady - stuff interferes with regularly scheduled programming. Press and bench press are going up, though. As for squatting, if I don't miss any scheduled work and hit all my numbers, I might hit 500# sometime in November. But that's a tall order. School is going okay. I have a test in stats next week. Whatevs. I already know all this crap, but I should still try hard.
KEEP YOUR BIG GOVERNMENT HANDS OFF MY MEDICARE. Friggin' Tea Partiers.
