A few days late for the 205th anniversary of Trafalgar, but I was busy.

What makes me think of this? Boat books. I just finished Post Captain.

I saw some guy walking around with a plane-towing-for-charity t-shirt. Strongman type thing. Way cool.

Trip went okay. Got into an accident with rental car five minutes before I was going to return it - minor damage all around. Should be no financial liability for me, but annoying paperwork annoys me. Bah.

Am getting drowsy. Might have some coffee to stay awake for class.

Doctor wants a liver specialist to look at me.

I've also been reading about the evolution of naval warfare.

My right wrist is feeling a bit gamey.

Downstairs neighbor wrote a letter complaining about the noise again, precipitated by my loudly clumping around at 3:25am to catch an absurdly early flight. I'll write a note back apologizing for that early morning nonsense, saying that I shall hope to avoid the necessity of traveling that early to make it to a funeral in the future and will endeavor to be more quiet in the mornings in general (yeah, right).

And now I'm going to go. Toodles.

Why a liver specialist?

eh, probably nothing by gzt (2.00 / 0) #2 Mon Oct 25, 2010 at 11:05:33 PM EST
few months ago, liver panel was off a little, so they checked for gall stones, didn't find any, so they wanted to check the values again in a few months. values were still off, but slightly different, so they're sending me to a specialist just to see what he says. probably nothing, but it warrants review.

Not the same signature as alcohol abuse and I don't really drink so much, but, yeah, if I do have a liver problem, I will have to curtail drinking.
