It's probably a good idea to delay the WTFC deadline til Labor Day, which would be 7 September. How about whenever 7 September 2009 ends, anywhere in the world. Update [2009-7-21 2:26:3 by ana]: It'll be midnight, Hub Of The Universe Time (that's the way the upload site works).
This afternoon, as attention permits, I'm listening to the 40-year delay rebroadcast of Apollo 11, on moon landing day, courtesy of the JFK library and their site wechoosethemoon.org. Voice transmissions over their low-gain antenna were extremely noisy. Hard to know how they understood some of this at the time.
Just got e-mail notice that the server room will be shut down, again, for a few hours on Thursday. This is the third or forth time they've had extended, planned, downtime to work on power issues since we moved stuff in there a couple years ago. Can you say, "not ready for prime time?" I knew you could.
And that's a diary. Kinda sorta.
