Holiday accom is finally booked for August, after 4 phonecalls, 2 e-mails and a fax. Southern Germany has not yet embraced modern technology or customer service. It isn't that anyone was rude, more that they appear disinterest in business. Also booked this Friday off as I am feeling very tired and have plenty of leave days. I might stay in bed and read, or hang out in cafes or go to thermal baths or something but mainly I will take pleasure in not planning anything.
So, are people who expect little or nothing from life and work their hardest with what they get more depressive than people who expect the universe to line up neatly to their will and rage when it does not?
Watched some of the Tour de France coverage. Not impressed that the leader had to practically punch some of the spectators out of the way. You'd think being fans, they might have a bit of respect for the actual sportsmen?
Now to return to multitasking - thinking and typing at the same time. Steady on...
