Oh, but, Saturday, Teh Wife will be working, so I'll be able to get those chairs finished. I did not want to do it while Teh Wife was in the house, see.
I've been taking ZMA before bed. I don't really notice sleeping better, but when I recall how often I wake up or whatever in the middle of the night, it seems that, yes, I am doing a bit better in terms of sleep quality. Don't go by impressions, go by concrete metrics. And I had some crazy dreams last night. In one, I was somehow playing for some major league team in left field and the center fielder was trying to pick up the slack for me because, well, I'm not a major league baseball player.
Catching up on Dollhouse. Amusing, usually, but not spectacular.
I don't know if my bench sets will be possible today. Hrm. I'll have to see how the shoulder feels under a load.
I really am going to take that exam this spring. One super secret project depends on it. Another super secret project would probably benefit from it. And Teh Wife would approve.
Ooh, I see a course I could take, it's on Thursday evenings, I don't have anything on Thursday evenings. Stats, highly useful, etc etc. I think I'll shoot off an e-mail this afternoon or something about stuff and things. Woooo.
I'm drinking coffee!
I listened to Icky Thump on the train to work this morning. I had almost forgotten how fond I am of that album. It really has quite a few great tracks on it. Seriously, though, it's time to cycle out the music on my iPod. And dig around my CD collection and burn more of my Stan Jones. I have Between the Breaks... Live! on there right now, which is a pretty great album (can't beat an album that has Barrett's Privateers and Mary Ellen Carter on it), but I've felt like listening to Northwest Passage lately.
Seriously, I want to know what happened to my shoulder. I was, like, reaching for the shower curtain or something. I don't think I tore anything, since I don't see any bruising. Oh well. Going overhead seems fine, so if benching doesn't work for me, I'll do overhead presses.
Dude, I should finish Emma.
