I have already diarised as to one reason.

Further EEEEEP!

(Wish I could get inline images working again).

Due in April 2009, sex unknown.  3 month scan done today, heart rate 161 bpm, at exact level for all measurable metrics.  Nuchal Translucency, blood hormones et al normal.  This means Downs Syndrome is a 1 in 10980 chance.

Is it too soon to be buying a babygro styled like a Brownshirt as yet?

But sounds good for beers.

Congratulations - although god knows how many times I've told you UTBNB.

I remember SB's 12 week scan (for the nucal measurement). Made it all seem real. And scary.

It's political correctness gone mad!

Couldn't tell from the scans we had on Friday by Breaker (4.00 / 1) #55 Mon Sep 29, 2008 at 01:31:37 AM EST
The scans they gave us to take home are by far the worst - but then I'd rather the medical professionals had the ones that really count.

But MBW, being an Aussie, completely missed my comment "Look!  It's a boy without a winkie!" Blackadder reference.

Will try at the next scan and see if it's a boy or a girl, because I am curious.  Not that either sex is desired or will be favoured; this child will be loved and protected regardless of chromosomes.
