Well it's been a weird day.

Update [2007-7-19 6:27:50 by anonimouse]: Cluestick, but not the entire cluestick

I made a suggestion to someone and as a result it currently appears that half a dozen people are going to be arrested on serious charges. Still not entirely sure it's gonna happen as yet, because the situation is a bit murky legally speaking; I'm in the "believe it when I see it" phase.

A quick google revails similar claims, but I don't think anyone has brought charges before. This one, however has 3 policemen plus a solicitor as witnesses and a recording of the event :-).

Social Workers called round at GG (GothGirl) claiming that they had come to remove children. Had no court order to do so, and indeed proceedings had been rejected 3 weeks earlier. 3 police who accompanied them were rather embarrassed by actions of Local Authority, and seem to want to make up for it. Also Gothgirl was on phone to solicitor who recorded interaction.

I advised GG to charge Local Authority workers with harassment, attempted kidnapping and False imprisonment. Police seem very interested and said will be charging two social workers and questioning others. Don't expect they will go to prison, but hope for very hefty damages from Local Authority...

..assuming advice doesn't lead to landing in shit...
