What were you listening to by vorheesleatherface (4.00 / 2) #1 Mon Dec 24, 2007 at 12:39:24 PM EST
when you made that? The dragon clearly has a "flock of seagulls" haircut. It's fantastic. Thanks!

A bunch of different stuff. by muchagecko (4.00 / 1) #6 Mon Dec 24, 2007 at 04:07:29 PM EST
Neil Finn, Interpol, Beck, Le Tigre, Hank Thompson, etc. Kind of an eclectic mix.

I'd never considered that the music I was listening to would effect my art. But maybe it does. I should experiment.

I have these friends, what live in Louisville, KY, by MohammedNiyalSayeed (4.00 / 1) #2 Mon Dec 24, 2007 at 03:33:43 PM EST

and they have this noisy motherfuckin' free-jazz/grindcore band called "The Belgian Waffles!", or "TBW!" or "TBW!Jazz Posse", and, well, they always wear these full-body jumpsuits when they play, and Utah Jazz hats.

They figure they have as much to do with Jazz as Utah does.

I figure dragons have as much to do with Christmas as fir trees do.

You can build the most elegant fountain in the world, but eventually a winged rat will be using it as a drinking bowl.
We should all make up our own by muchagecko (4.00 / 1) #9 Mon Dec 24, 2007 at 04:21:08 PM EST
Holiday symbols. There's certainly more meaning in dragons than decorating a dead tree for my family.

The Jazz hats are pretty snazzy - purple, green and gold. Oh yeah.

every year for the holidays. Last year my daughter did a dragon card, which I can't find right now.

Thanks
