It is bloody hot outside. Or should I say Sweaty Hawt outside? It doesn't matter because it is HOT!
Though really, I am quite glad it is. My daughter is on the neighborhood swim team and on her first swim meet two weeks ago it was 64 degrees outside (Fahrenheit). She was not a happy camper about getting in the pool to swim. Since then she seems to like the swim team. I have to say though her best swim time was that first cold swim meet she had. Hee Hee my poor baby.
The Hurricanes won!! Cool! I was starting to worry that they couldn't pull it off.
My hubby got free VIP Dave Matthews tickets for last nights concert. It was really cool but my daughter had a swim meet which most of our baby sitters are pretty of. We went to the swim meet cut out as soon as she finished swimming and came home. I found a high school neighborhood grad to baby sit after she got off work at 9. So by the time we got to the concert we only got to see an hour and half of the show. Not complaining though because they were free up close and personal tickets and I had a great time.
Can't keep up with all the World Cup soccer games. I have 8 games on my DVR I haven't had time to watch. I could be watching now but I figured I needed to write an entry.
My hubby's computer died a valiant death. The mother board was shot to H_ll. He has a work laptop he is using instead but it is damn inconvenient for me. Since it is a work laptop my daughter and I are not allowed on it. My daughter wants to play on computer her word and math games at the same time I am using the computer now which is a pain. I was nice before because I could be on this computer and tell her to go play on her Dad's computer. Boo hoo for me.
I am trying to plan a 5 day/4 night vacation for just me and hubby but we don't know where to go. It has to be hotel/flight for both of us at $1000 or under which is hard to find. And we both want to go somewhere we haven't been before. We thought about Europe but the flight alone is at $1000. Now we are thinking Canada. . . Niagara Falls. It is doable with our budget. Still thinking on it though.
Well that is all the time I can spare on this diary. Have a lovely summer!!!
