Weekend.

Movie Review - Silent Hill.

POLL: My least favourite food is?

Weekend.

Friday night was Sisters-other-halfs-brothers birthday. Went out for a meal (just locally) with about 8 people and had a fun night out. Got paid £20 for eating a mouthful of sweetcorn. Lordy, I hate sweetcorn. See poll.

Saturday. Woke up on a beautiful sunny morning with C. Then off to play golf, only played nine short holes but hit a 34, which for me, was very good. Saturday afternoon, watched the footy with some pals in the pub then went to my sisters for a BBQ. High point, me successfully blaming my 4 year old niece for starting a bread roll fight, when it was, in fact, me. Muuhaha.

Sunday. Played golf again first thing (39, not terrible for me) then spent afternoon with C. We went bowling, watched Silent Hill (see below) then had a Thai Meal. Finished evening curled up under sofa watching* Solaris. Am seeing her again tonight :)

* Falling asleep in front of

Footy.

Very happy with the Spurs performance, it was a massive game, loads of pressure and we certainly deserved a draw. Not many teams go to Highbury and give them that hard a game. Despite the fact that before the game, I would have taken your arm off for a draw, I was almost a bit disappointed. Great game though, good to see some genuine competition between the 2 clubs again, makes it all a bit more interesting. Next season should be great, Manu, Liverpool, Arse, Spurs all looking like teams improving, should be very competitive in top 6. To truly improve, I would like to see Spurs sign a left and right back (Chimbonda for right back, open to ideas for left...), a replacement for Davids (Kevin Nolan please), and either permanently sign Mido or (possibly preferably), sign Dirk Kuyt.

Movie Review - Silent Hill.
Looks amazing, good acting (except for Boromir's dodgy American accent). However, weird to the point of weirdness and too much fancy-dan jerky cinematography. Worth watching, definitely a good attempt.

Actually, I've got a great sweetcorn story - a gay mate shagged someone up the arse once and found a bit of sweetcorn under his foreskin afterwards.

Fish by codemonkey uk (4.00 / 3) #19 Mon Apr 24, 2006 at 01:41:29 AM EST
Fish is the most revolting "food" there is. I think I'd rather eat dog food than eat fish. I used to think I had an allergy to fish, but now I've realised that yes, it is possible for food to be so utterly revolting that it makes you throw up just to have it in your mouth, without it necessarily being an allergic reaction.

It makes me feel sick to even sit in a restaurant and a table near someone eating fish.

Strange game you lot played well, though we really didn't start playing at all till the last 25 minutes.

Overall on performance you were the better team and deserved to score well before you resorted to cheating ;).

Though had you scored Wenger might have changed things well before he actually did! Really interesting finish now though I think you'll end up with the neccesary 6 points from Bolton and west ham (?), I'm hoping it's all accademic as we'll claim the Champions League place anyhow!

Arsene Wenger having a go at someone for not seeing a controversial incident...

Definitely makes it an interesting end to the season and the first one in (my) living memory when Spurs and Arsenal are genuinely competitive.

I am in 2 minds about your game with Villareal tomorrow, part of me thinks if you win, will you be resting Henry for league game(s) thereby dropping a couple of points? Then if you get beat in final, we're in. BUT, worst nightmare, we finish fourth, you win it - arrgghh!!!

I expect us to beat Bolton and we should beat West Ham as its a bit of a nothing game for them - they've got their Uefa place and will be thinking of cup final. BUT, their fans hate us and they might get a bit of stick from them if they don't try hard...

Interesting stuff!

As I am sure you know, even when a list contains only two items, if the first item is of two parts (such as "spelling and grammar") it is perfectly acceptable to use a comma before the final "and", to make absolutely clear the separation of the two list items.

It is also acceptable to some to use a final comma in a list no matter what, but this is by no means a universal view.

Yes, I am that dull.
