  • New entries for the WFC!
  • Holiday!
  • Dog. :-(

So there are several new entries for the Writing Fun Challenge, I see. Keep up the good work, and keep 'em coming! I'm rather impressed by the variety so far.

Eeaster seems to have kinda snuck up on me this year. Yeah, we did the Lent thing, complete with the exquisite music, and an Evensong. Still, it's Easter already. I love the Easter Vigil, abbreviated though it may be nowadays. Lots of readings about the history of Israel. Passing flame from person to person (on candles). It's all very moving. Not to mention exquisite music.

Teh Dawg is not feeling well. I hope it's just something going around, but we're always kinda wary when she gets something, since last summer. Some days I'm not quite sure why, but we love her very much. Today was not one of those days. We spent an hour or so sitting with her on the floor, just stroking her fur and looking into her eyes. And crying, both of us. They told us that chemo could give her a remission that might last a year, and it did, kinda more or less. She's been full of energy and very much alive, until yesterday when she was feeling yucky. Vet, tomorrow, where they know her, and we'll see.

Not really feeling all that hot myself, either. Kind of dehydrated, I think. And toxicfur seems to feel similar. Nervous about the dog also. And just sad.

Happy Easter! I'll try.

And in part it was Teh Dawg's approval of me that won for me the love of my life.

About 10 years ago my parents had to put down their first dog--the "practice baby". We still miss her.

Of course, I am doing my best to make sure her deep-seated disapproval of everything lives on.
