Audio Fo' Yo' Eahs

I have produced new audio things for your enjoyment:

First a brighter re-EQing of Super Happy Motivated Rock Band's I Couldn't Sleep designed to draw attention to cam's virtuoso playing and arranging. That song is so deep in its simplicity.

Second an original track entitled We're Going To The Lake (featuring mns and his Office Dog).

We're Going To The Lake continues in a series of songs exploring the rudimentary pulse wave as versatile synthetic instrument. Heck, that one wave form produced most of the sounds of the Nintendo Entertainment System, the Atari 2600 and Atari 800, and Commodore 64. A simple PW modulated pulse wave coupled with high pass filter can produce all manner of tones reminiscent of rudimentary digital music systems.

I plan to release an EP called Pulse Wave Party or Square Wave Rave. I'm not sure which one yet.

Also, mns, I totally got you back for that Zombies Zombies Zombies psychedelic pastiche from your podcast. Don't worry, I'll produce a new podcast soon and then you can warp my delightful Canadian accent all you like.

i have not yet listened to you mix of cam's track because i am too blown away by Going to the Lake!

i am hammered, but if voting were enabled now i owuld vote for "going to the lake" four times!

i'll let you know if i still feel this way in the morning when the intoxicants have worn off.

I thought about doing an MFC Waits but couldn't get any ideas. I just made this on a lark.
I don't feel comfortable entering the competition with this one. But I'm glad that you like it!

I like to use vocal samples as starting points for my songs. I hear tell that ammo likes to leave messages for people while drunk. E-mail me at six.oh.six@gmail.com and I will provide a number that he can call at his leisure.

Or you could record him and send me the recording. Whatever works for you.
