Print Story aw frig, my microwave popcorn!
I was supposed to get a ride from some guys at 5:15 and I woke up from a nap at 5:30. Aw frig! They didn't have my number, so I presume they just left without me. I peeked out the window and didn't see them, so I hope I assumed right and they weren't still waiting.

It wasn't even a good nap.

Tomorrow the dean of one of the few Orthodox seminaries on the continent will be at my parish. Should be good.

It's not so bad. There's still free food for me in this world. There's still an evening to do stuff. There's still justice somewhere. And there's still fun-loving cowwqas. on the horizon.

So last night, some kids wanted me to pick up some beer for them on the way home, the same ones who last time gave me $.26 less money than needed to purchase their beer and didn't throw any beer my way. I was in a generous mood, though, and had a free half hour, so I obliged. They managed to give me enough money, but when I got their beer to them they tried to give me like $5 because the woman among them said, "It would feel like we were using you otherwise." On the contrary, it feels like you're being used if you're paid money for a favor instead of being repaid with a favor or in kind [ie, beer]. I was like, gosh, I honestly don't particularly like you people and wouldn't really 'chill' with you, but we could at least have a beer or two like real men or something. So I took the money and felt dirty. Consequently, it was used to do laundry. So fresh and so clean.

Last night: I had too much tofu.

Tonight: free [vegetarian] chili.

I plugged in my speakers and listened to music this afternoon. Ah, yes. Much needed.

I think I'll eat free food now. I've been too hungry to think of or do anything interesting in the past few days.
