Disabling point32.exe seemed to solve it. 

This is just bizarre.  That's simply the intellimouse application that remaps mouse button presses to other windows messages.  I can disable it but that messes up my mouse buttons. 

Sometimes I really hate XP. 

What are my options?  Reinstall the OS?  Still might not work, and it takes forever. 

Other stuff; This week, I have a choice between free drinks provided by work, or visiting some friends to see Serenity.  Again.  Or to put it another way, it's a choice between free beer with people I don't really get on with, or watchign a film that I think is pretty overrated. 

Gamepolitics has worse groupthink than Slashdot.  I'd be tempted to troll it were it not for the fact that Jack Thompson does so good a job. I'll stick with scammers.  I got a very religious email today.  I wonder if I can convert the guy to Satanism.
