Moment 14

OBI-WAN rushes over to QUI-GON, who is dying.

               OBI-WAN
          Master! Master!

               QUI-GON
          It is too late... It's...

               OBI-WAN
          No!

               QUI-GON
          Obi-Wan promise... promise me
          you'll train the boy...

               OBI-WAN
          Yes, Master...

               QUI-GON
He is the chosen one... he
          will... bring balance... train
          him!

QUI-GON dies. OBI-WAN cradles his Master, quietly weeping.

Apologies, the screen cap doesn't match up with the dialogue exactly.

Gah, you skipped over the best moments by R Mutt (2.00 / 0) #1 Thu Apr 07, 2005 at 03:13:29 AM EST
The reveal of the two-bladed lightsaber, and the opening of the pointless doors so Qui-gon can fight Darth Maul.

I'm not too big on this scene. It's the most interesting thing going on at this point in the film, but it's still not a very good fight, IMHO.

Maybe not. by Lost In A Dream (2.00 / 0) #6 Thu Apr 07, 2005 at 03:24:33 AM EST

But it contains the best photographic moment of the entire film. When Maul's face goes from that evil smile to a look of "uh oh." I almost screamed with joy that the expression was captured so brilliantly.

Another boring scene masquerading as great by DesiredUsername (2.00 / 0) #2 Thu Apr 07, 2005 at 03:17:43 AM EST
I can't wait until we get to this one:

What?? I can't link to other people's files? Bogus!

For a second, I thought "What?? I can't link to other people's files? Bogus!" was an Anakin line I'd forgotten. You've got Lucas's voice down.

I'll come in again:

I can't wait until we get to this scene:

Yoda explains the distribution of red and blue states

have you seen this? by ObviousTroll (2.00 / 0) #7 Thu Apr 07, 2005 at 03:37:21 AM EST
homepage.mac.com/porkchop_d_clown/SW_ep3_trailer_captioned.wmv

It's been around on the web, it's the SW3 trailed with "l33t" subtitles.

Anything mocking Star Wars gets +1 Insightful from me. And let's face it if the entire film was redubbed in leet-speak it would hardly detract from Lucas's dialog would it?
