Once you’ve got the clearance the contractors won’t leave you alone. Well, if it’s one of the useful clearances anyway.

I've found it hard too although I got a fair few interviews. I'm on my final interview for a permie job. This'll be my first permanent job in 20 years if I get it. The salary is decent even if not at the contracting levels.

But the rate for the role is reasonably high and with  rapid weekly payment so I cannot grumble too much
