I liked it, but my expectations, as most of you know, were abysmally low. So, even with all the plot holes, it surpassed my expectations.

That's a great article, especially for those of us who were taught that the history of life on earth started with the Cambrian explosion.

Every scene I’d be thinking “This just happened, so now that will happen.” There we’re only two “Huh, didn’t expect that” moments. Where the identity of the spy was revealed, and her parentage.

They design these movies for the kids now that Disney owns them. They are also diverse to appease the SJWs who don't watch them.

These were always designed as kid's movies.

for the current generation not past generations. The Star Wars I grew up with was different. Luke wasn't a coward who hid in a cave, and to get Jedi powers you need to train for a long time. Not touch a light saber and gain a lifetime of skills.

The best Rise of Skywalker review, I think.

I ended up down the filmcrit Hulk rabbit hole again after that.

Despite the five comments only about Star Wars in your diary, I totally read the paragraph about Hamlet and was glad it was there, though.

Also Gandhi being an overflow bug is great.
