Why, yes, I am a nerd. Why do you ask?

I now know what the noise that is usually spelled "lolwhut" sounds like. --Kellnerin

Nerd maps... by wumpus (2.00 / 0) #5 Fri Aug 12, 2011 at 06:38:06 PM EST
I had the map of Greyhawk over my bed. Also had a map of the silicon valley (hand drawn for humor and labeling various companies).

I don't think I put up my Philmont map (where good boy scouts go when they die). I suspect that was even too geeky for me.

It is unlikely that the good of a snail should reside in its shell: so is it likely that the good of a man should?

Later, a Jaguar XJ. Which is an old man's car, apparently, but there you go. Also, a complete series listing for Dr Who up to Caves of Androzani.

 1. The solar system
 2. The human body (anatomical diagram rather than soft porn, I distinctly remember that this one was female on the left and male on the right)
 3. A cow (actually a close up of a cow head face on, in weird purple-on-green false colour)

I think I probably had a map of the world too.

How now, mad spirit?

The Kiss and The Lady of Shalott are the two I remember putting up, and repro film posters from Breakfast at Tiffanys and A Clockwork Orange.

I also had a very large poster of Kurt Cobain and a lot of picture records up.

I grew up with that one too.

I had several rock and metal band posters up on my wall, anything from Guns N Roses to Iron Maiden to Metallica to Slayer...also I had lots of Lamborghini and Ferrari posters up. I had a few pictures of girls, I seem to recall a few that a friend and I won at a fair that we put up in our rooms to piss off our mothers, and the biggest poster of a girl that I had up was this one of Christina Applegate holding an eagle and a snake.  I also used to draw a lot, so I'd make posters of Bart Simpson saying something a little more x-rated (which my mom would tear down and throw away when I was at school.)  It wasn't very clever, just stuff like, "Suck my balls, man."
