Having been riduculously happy myself for over 2 years now for the same reasons, it's easy to appreciate the occasion. :)

We have two dates we more or less commemorate - Memorial Day weekend, and February 13th (green card day - prior to it, we weren't sure we could live in the same country for any extended period of time).

There was a wedding somewhere in there (January 25th, 2008), but since it didn't change anything, it's not really that relevant.

Our favorite place is in Toronto, and that's over an 8 hour drive away.

We keep trying new places around here, but Thai here just doesn't measure up.

Whenever we talk about visting someone in Toronto, the first thought is always "Mmmm, Salad King" (a weird name for a great place).

Don't forget the thumbs. Our dog seems to want thumbs all the time when trying to grab things off the counter, or hold things in place for gnawing.

A return to where it began it was. We could've gone to the shitty smoky bar where I got her that Manhattan but between the kid in tow and the crap smoky bar and Massive Hungers we went straight for the foods.

If you find yourself in Munich and in need of a good curry, you need to go here. You might even want to send us a note a day or two in advance.

woof.

Your story makes me really happy, and I'm glad I was here at the beginning. Here's to many, many more joyful years.
