Q!: I would take back all the hours I spent wandering aimlessly around C- this weekend. You may have my blisters.

Q@: Internets and D&D

Q#: Showering. Because sometimes I still get scared, but I live alone; no one to sit by the door and keep me company.

Q$: I'm finding it very difficult to answer this one without it getting dirty and talking myself into the sex industry. Therefore: drinking. I need the money to support the habit.

Q%: What're ya, ma shrink? Not much and all the time. Respectively???

Q^: Eating Avocado and Brie sandwiches while lying on a bed of live cuddly bunnies with fluffy little tails and the cute little whiskers tickling and bun-bun toesies frolicking...  ...  i am set on fire, my spine goes on someone mantle while my ashes are locked away in a little box. That's it. I reconcile by eating too much avocado and brie and skinning bunnies.

Q&: See above.

Q*: I watch Canada's Next Top Model and read Fashion magazines religiously. There's worse, but it's just plain none of your business.

Q(: Right here. I finally got the internets, have completely free and fully-paid cable and have a glass of gin.

Q): Easy! My dad. He may not deserve it in any grand sense, but from where I'm sitting it should have happened years ago. That and I'm a bad person, I guess.

  • Going to bed (unless the Insomnia Fairy decides to keep me company).

  • Eating. I never know what to have. I get bored of making things. Nothing tastes good.

  • I'd like to get paid to play Zoo Tycoon.

  • Everything is ok every day, and everything is wrong every day.

  • I'd rather not answer this .. so I won't!

  • Mmmmm .... I think I'll keep that to myself.

Q!: If you could take back a period of time in which you feel that you acted wrongly, what price would be worth that act?  (That is to say... "I would take back my second year of college for my right foot because...")

As a heavy duty proponent of not having regret and learning from every nuance from my life, I am a bit pressed here. Hrm. I know. Here it is: I would take back the time in 2005 in return for my left eye lash. It would be so worth it. My left eyelash. Who needs it.

Q@: To what are you most looking forward tomorrow?
A dinner party!

Q#: If you could eradicate one aspect of the toil of living, what would it be and why?

The toil of bathroom functions. Who does that!

Q$: What thing do you wish you could get paid to do but cannot find a feasible access point?

Have sex with beautiful men.

Q%: How often do you feel everything is okay?  How often do you feel everything is wrong?

I am feeling pretty zen these days. It's all ok! Especially when it hasn't been. More so that you have written a stellar diary Q, things are even more gravy. Yess!

Q^: What do you hope happens after death?  What do you think actually happens after death?  How do you reconcile the two?

I am looking forward to getting eaten by sharks and being one with the ocean. I will probably get eaten by a big hairy bear and not feel spread as far. Still, it's good. I'm not afraid.

Q&: If you could add anything to your life at this very moment, what would it be?

Q*: What is the most dark secret you feel comfortable telling here?  Does telling such a thing make you question why you are so open or closed, depending?  Why or why not?

I think I may already have. I am pretty openly closed and I do not question it.

Q(: If you could be anywhere right now....   where?

Oh. Hrm. In Montreal. For sure =)

Q): Pick one person you could wish dead.   Do not falter.. do not dismiss this question... many people die everyday and you are merely asked to pick one.. out of many... today.  Pick one.  Tell me why.

This isn't dark. Hrm. Sometimes I wish there were people that take up valuable space in my head that were dead. At least in the sense that I could kill them in my mind. Being pretty openly closed, I will never reveal the who's. So sorry. But you know I still love you Q!!

So... by MisterQueue (4.00 / 2) #19 Sun Aug 10, 2008 at 04:31:26 AM EST

Q!: Acting wrongly? I think I usually act pretty rightly. Though if there's something i could change it'd be me being a dick to many people. Should have been nicer to people, and the price would be putting up with more social nonsense than I do now.

Q@: Looking forward to? D&D, a good night's rest.

Q#: Eradicate toil? I think i'd do away with commutes. Live in the mountains of BC, work in NYC, spend the evening in London.

Q$: get paid to do? photography. hopefully i'm only a year off.

Q%: i feel everything is (more or less) ok about 85% of the time. everything is wrong? rarely.

Q^: What do you hope happens after death? I hope it's fun.

Q&: If you could add anything to your life at this very moment, what would it be? A good woman. (if anyone gets semantic with me about "anyTHING" and "women" i will cut your head off)

Q*: What is the most dark secret you feel comfortable telling here? I'm too new here, and the mix of people i know and don't is too strange for me to really reveal anything particularly revelatory. I lied about not using a walkthrough to finish Braid today. But i swear i only needed it for one puzzle piece.

Q(: If you could be anywhere right now....   where? The future!

Q): Who am I killing? That's a tough one. I don't think I have anyone I'd wish dead right now. If i could transmute it into some other sort of powerful result that'd be great.

i hope it's fun by rhooke (4.00 / 1) #15 Sat Aug 09, 2008 at 07:48:24 PM EST

A@: Kayaking I think

A#: The inefficiency of drink.

A$: Drink?

A%: 30/70, good or bad, alternating on Mondays.

A^: I don't hope or think about death that much. Okay, well, Piers Anthony's Incarnations idea sounds pretty sweet, though that does not answer the question really.

A): I really, really wouldn't feel right wishing anyone dead, not even in jest on a website. Seriously, this is bizarre. I do really want to answer the queuestions, but ... No, I can't. It seems to be a line I can't cross. I suppose there have been times when I've said things in the heat of the moment that amount to wishing someone dead, but to do it calculating, conscious of what I'm saying? No. It's not like my wishes would matter, but still I can't. I even tried to roll over some possibilities in my mind ... and I recoiled even when the person under consideration was definitely not a nice person. Surely they deserve it? But, alas, no. Q!: Bit too close to this one for calls at the moment.  Not sure what I would give up to take back mistakes though... nor which portions I would consider mistakes I guess...  Value is in question here.. both versions of the word even.

Q@: I am most looking forward to dinner (today.. since this is the "tomorrow" in question).  Other than that I have lots of things to move and then have to actually go into the office on Monday so there's not much else for which to look forward.   If we're talking about the new "tomorrow", I am most looking forward to getting the day over with.

Q#: Time constraints.  I don't have enough time to learn and make all the things I want to do while keeping up with excersize/nutrition/feeding and clothing the sick/buying stocks at half price/etc...

Q$: I would like to get paid to be vaguely amusing...  either that or photography... but that probably will not happen.

Q%: I feel everything is okay about 40% of the time.  I feel everything is wrong about 50% of the time.  Don't ask about the other 10.

Q^: I hope I get some damned answers, but also more mysteries.. knowing everything would get really old I imagine.  I think what actually happens is nothing.  I reconcile them by remembering that a number of the stars we see could have long since burned out and we would be none the wiser.

Q&: Serenity, preferably

Q*: I spilled most of my dark secrets long ago on pages similar to this one.  They were well coded though, so I suppose I'm closedly open.  Or open to interpretation.

Q(: Lying on the ledge by the Mississippi near the Arch and watching the clouds float by...   why I'm not there right now is something I have just begun to question as I type this.

Q): I don't need any more visits from the Feds thank you very much. Infer what you will from that statement.

Q@: Monday...damn, not much.  Reading on the train, I suppose.

Q#: Shaving, because it is annoying.

Q$: Writing whatever code I wanted, not whatever code the Man wanted.

  1. I would give both of my nuts to take back years 1969 through 2008. Then again, that's not much of a sacrifice, considering how useless they've turned out to be.
  2. Being done with apartment searching at 4:30, and back on a train to the current apartment.
  3. I would eradicate the part where I feel anything. That way, enduring pain would be rather trivial.
  4. Killing people.
  5. Never. Always.
  6. Nothing. Nothing. There is no need to reconcile them, as they are unified.
  7. An end point with minimal external impact, and little to no physical pain.
  8. I've killed a large number of snakes, and I'm pretty sure the word is out on the Snake Streets that I am guilty of mass snakeocide. No, and because I remained closed.
  9. Over there, on the futon, asleep.
  10. Just one? Fucking hell. I pick Robert Brunette, because he's at the top of the list this week.

1 - I would take back my first marriage for two toes on one foot, because it was possibly the stupidest thing I've ever done and life's been largely downhill since then. I'd only give up two toes because, after all, I have managed to deal reasonably well with that mistake after all...

11 - Paying for housing and utilities. Like, duh!

100 - National. Geographic. Photographer.

101 - Never. Always.

110 - Revenge against my enemies followed my peaceful bliss for myself. Nothing. I don't.

111 - A kind, loving, passionate woman who really cared for me and my kids.

1000 - I'm not telling it here -- Ever. This decision does not make me question my openness or closedness at all. These are the Internets after all. Why should I trust anyone here with my deepest darkest secret?

1001 - The Dreamscape beach resort in Tulum.

1010 - My elder brother. Because he was a giant fuck to me all through my childhood and continues to be one now whenever we're together -- which, mercifully, is almost never. I plan to dance on his grave if I outlive him. Or better still, my dad. Because his brain is nothing more than a pile of oatmeal now, and I know that somewhere in there he's suffering terribly with the "quality" of life he has now.

. . . if you did - but it won't be as poetic because of the lateness.

Q! - Nothing major to take back, really . . . so nothing.

Q@ - so tomorrow would be Tues . . . uh, having dinner on the porch with my wife and drinking wine after a cool dip in the pool.

Q# - I would eliminate most taxes and all interest (tithes).

Q$ - Writer/landscape painter. Leaning towards the painter, as that would force me to live in beautiful northern locale.

Q& - More years to my life.

Q* - I peed my bed when I was little. No. I don't know you all.

Q( - Lazing in a hamoca drinking margaritas and fruit shakes by a beach in southern Mexico.

Q) - Dick Cheney. He's the first evil bugger that came to mind.
