Zero??? by Bob Abooey (2.00 / 0) #2 Fri Oct 12, 2007 at 06:46:32 AM EST
Dude - the mighty RedSox won 96 games this year. Meanwhile the team you give a zero chance to beat them won, lets see, okay here it is, they won 96 games. The way I figure it the odds are more like 50%

statistics can be made to make anything appear by cam (4.00 / 2) #3 Fri Oct 12, 2007 at 06:54:43 AM EST
reasonable. 0% it is.

Anyway the Indians are in the same division as the Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns and Detriot Lions. Of course they are going to win 96 games.

tickets by alprazolam (2.00 / 0) #5 Fri Oct 12, 2007 at 07:43:32 AM EST
after watching the Monday night Bills - Cowboys game and admiring the fans for their loudness, I thought "wouldn't it be nice for the Cowboys to enjoy that kind of support from their fans"? So I took a look at tickets, that is, a single ticket mind you, to this Sunday's "duel" with the Patriots: $400+. For a single, upper level seat. So unfortunately I'll leave the "support" to the rich yuppies who'll be sitting in the bar trying to impress each other while comfortably ensconced in front of my TV, watching the game for free and without hassle.

Yeah - supply and demand and all that. Still, 400 clams for a regular season game, even if it's a big game like that one, is batshit crazy.

I got word from my buddy that he scored two tickets for game 5 for $90 per ticket. Those are for crappy seats too (row nn in right field - that's about as far as you can get) but at least I'll get to go to a playoff game.

Is that ScalpStubHub.com price or straight from the stadium?

Tickets for Eagles games go for about that much - well, this season they seem to be cheaper with that 1-3 record and all...

When I'm imprisoned as an enemy combatant, will you blog about it?
