especially not near any entrance, like the eye or nose. and sanitize your hands often. don't bother with antibacterial soaps, get real hand sanitizers with alcohol. sleep well so your immune system is in tip-tip shape.

Do your damnedest to eat well and get enough rest. Probably will be hard with finals coming on. Herbal stuff like Echinacea is supposed to boost your immune system, but I'm honestly not sure about how much it will actually do.

Don't neglect multivitamins, and for the love of god, exercise. If you're already in good shape, you just need to maintain until your exams.

Cough syrup will just fuck you up. Dextromethorphan Hydrbromide is a hallucinogen if you take too much, not to mention a mild sedative and is the most common ingredient.

Whiskey is for when the barn has already burned down and the girl's knocked up; old family remedy to burn the sick out. Probably not the best idea.

Only one way to go by Bob Abooey (4.00 / 1) #5 Fri Nov 17, 2006 at 07:49:36 AM EST
You must simply sweat it out.

Best way to do that is to put on a very bright heavy wool dress (I know I know) then go out for a jog. Jogging outside is the best way to work up an real sweat (an artificial sweat won't work) so plan on going for 10 or 20 miles.

Good luck!

Definitely don't go out for drinks with BadDoggie, mns and LinDze if you have a cold.

Airborne has worked for me in the past by StackyMcRacky (2.00 / 0) #7 Fri Nov 17, 2006 at 08:22:22 AM EST
but probably because it's Vitamin C and zinc.

but what everybody else said - eat healthy (plenty of bright veggies), get enough sleep, and wash/sanatize those hands whenever you can!
