This, and any derivative communities are just crying to be trolled to hell and back. The premise? Since we all know meat is murder and since clearly capitalism is evil, we should all get our food from dumpsters. Rather than go with the old school term "dumpster diving", these hip young fellas have coined a more PC term, "Freeganism". ...Short post, but I had to do the poll.

Nuts. Just found out about trhurler. I fondest internet memories were jabbing him as Dr. Cortez. Nothing is better than calling him Trevor Hurler or Dr. Tobias Raymond Hurler. I find it amazing that only in his death do we learn of his real name. He managed to keep his online persona well hidden, even after 19,239 comments, 6 stories and 280 diaries.

Last week I acquired a Sun Sunfire V100. It was to be used as a radius server, but the company that owned it never panned out. It is several years old, but the machine was powered on for a few hours during its life. Aside from that, life has been too busy with contract work to improve my own product - which needs some capital to properly market it and pay my friend for a logo and website graphics. Inside, a boring unstructured, unedited computer-nerd diatribe....

Combine your kernel and binaries Use your text editor to slightly combine your servers IP, default gateway, and dns servers Cross fingers, start pinging your server, pray and reboot. If your pings start working again, enjoy your new Gentoo (tm) brand operating system!
