The texture was a bit unappetizing. I mean, had it been real meat, the texture would have been indicative of something gone horribly wrong. The flavor was not bad. I could get used to them, given time, but I am unsure as far as my gut goes. There seems to be disagreement in the processing portion as to what, exactly, it is supposed to be doing with the soy compounds.
