A good friend of mine in the department won as well, which is nice. They give out four awards in two categories in this competition, I got one in the one category, she got one in the other, I don't know what the deal with the other two awards is (they can split however they want). They presumably were won by people elsewhere (gosh, my department doesn't win everything?).

Print Story Television involving time travel.

Time travel comes up a lot in science fiction, I suppose, but it seems to me that there aren't many good shows that use it regularly as a part of their plot. Star Trek, for instance, doesn't count, it's an occasional odd anomaly. Doctor Who does, it's an integral part.

Print Story so I played War of the Ring yesterday

I played the Saruman et al. and three others played the other three roles. We lost, unfortunately. We got to 11 corruption and were within striking distance of a military victory. We didn't get many of the cruel hunt tiles into play and I think that was our downfall.
