The wifing unit tried to make bread in the breadmaker today. It was a catastrophe.

So when I got home, I looked at it and saw it was set for 1.5# loaf, but the recipe she used was for a 2# loaf. She said she wasn't sure what to use, the recipe said to choose a size, so she choose the middle option. Well, it was already going, so, whatevs.

It looked like the only real difference was a different cooking time and a little more rising time or something. So, you know, I thought we'd see how it went, it could maybe be rescued.

In which our hero travels a great distance to have lunch, though he probably won't talk much about that.

Print Story How often do you wash your mug?

My tea mug is so grody. It's not like coffee where it stinks afterwards, so I just let it sit there and it builds up sort of brown pateana that will not come off in the dishwasher and requires intense scrubbing which even then does not do such a perfect job. Really I need like a autoclave for this shit.
