Two birthdays one party, kitchen remodeling, med withdrawal and many work problems are getting to me.

Plus tickling the Dragon's tail in The First War of Physics, Lady in White, long long weekend, tiny bladders, Day of Battle, Hitler's Holy Relics, Sourcery, touchscreen gizmos, now we are nine and fourteen, purple french fries, sorry about that heat wave, when flathead screws are outlawed, book club and less.

Poll being filibustered.

Print Story Life In Reno
By Histle JJL Mechanics (Sun Feb 18, 2007 at 09:36:54 AM EST) Reno, Nevada (all tags)
I live in Reno, a small town on the far western edge of Nevada on the same corridor as San Fransisco and Sacramento. I've lived here  almost all of my life. I really do love it here.

Reno is a "small" town, but its pretty big for one. The area has about 300,000-400,000 people, I think, depending on who you talk to. Reno itself has about 150,000.

The weather is always nice. Its just cold enough to get a bit of snow in the winter, and the summers are mild. I think Reno is a great alternative for those seeking to get out of the cold weather. Traditionally, these people move to LA, or Phoenix, or Las Vegas. LA is undesirable for many rasons, and if you've ever been to Phoenix or Las Vegas in the middle of the summer, could you imagine living their for the entire 3 month season?
