Print Story romancing the fifth kingdom
the day was perfect.

cool, humid, misty. everything was still dripping wet from the rains.
the forest, which wandered over the rolling hills of the moraine was lush with new growth.
the conifers were heavy with pollen, the hardwoods were heavy with new chartreuse leaves. the spring ephemerals were going to seed, the trilliums were turning pink, the first orchids and lilies of summer were holding their buds high on spindly stems.

today was a day for field studies, independent research, unreasonably sexy comments in latin, and mushroom hunting.
