as christendom careens once more toward mad max-style anarchy, my thoughts turn to the likelihood that in the very near future the world financial system will be based on ammunition instead of us treasury bonds.

my question to fellow hulver's site readers is: what's the best way to accumulate a large stock of ammunition in a short period of time, say before the united states' debt ceiling is reached (experts estimate this limit will be reached on or shortly after october 18th)?

i'm not out to cause any kind of mayhem or anything, i just want to make sure i'm covered in the event of the collapse of civilization. so nothing illegal and nothing that will raise eyebrows with the authorities. i mean, it's possible, though i'd say unlikely, that society will actually continue to exist four weeks from now, in which case i don't want to be on the fbi's watch list.

thoughts?

No one will look askance at someone buying camo gloves at one Walmart and a few boxes of ammo, then a camo stadium seat cushion and a few more boxes of ammo at Dick's, ...

Throw in a Field and Stream, some jerky and an American flag t-shirt while you're at it.

And empty it.

If your plans for the end of civilization are based on bullets, you only need one. For yourself.

the social security administration already jacked the price up earlier in the year by buying billions of bullets. also, did you know that they're immune to the shutdown? and that several rothschilds work for the SSA? and did you know the federal reserve is immune to the shutdown? have you ever heard of chemtrails?

no, i didn't... until now by the mariner (2.00 / 0) #6 Wed Oct 02, 2013 at 09:06:20 AM EST

but you cannot buy ammunition for them without being suspected?

Seems weird to a smelly-euro like me, but then again only murderers buy guns, I mean - who else is using them?

(that might have been a joke).
