It was clearly meant to be a show the parents and kids would watch together. Of course that was a long time ago with few channels and only 1 TV in the house etc.

That video has been watched, according to Youtube, 235 million times.

about 10 of those times were me. I don't understand it, but I can't turn away. Plus, I get the song stuck in my head.

And I've watched the "Angry Hitler" version another half-dozen times. It's a genius of editing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaIMQwm1Kyo

rockaroll love song ever recorded. Or if not all "rockaroll" surely best "power pop" love song. Loud, catchy, discordant, formulaic, funny, earnest, ironic, understated, overstated, alive, great baseline & drum-thwock, and sex sex sex. Also, the video represents, perhaps, the apogee of this 1980's-90's "art form".  Ladies & germs, "I touch myself", by the Divinyls:

first one to work, but I did see the "Time to say goodbye" duet, and certainly the look of affection on Brightman's face is just a joyous thing to behold. In a similar vein, I recommend virtually any video of the Tedeschi/Trucks Band, when (her husband) Derek Trucks is playing solo guitar, Susan Tedeschi looks so enraptured you fear she's either going to jump his bones right on stage, or just melt into a puddle. Hard to believe for us normal guys, but some guys can actually do that to women. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes:

Neat stuff by BadDoggie (4.00 / 1) #13 Sat Sep 22, 2012 at 02:34:52 AM EST
The Puppy thinks this is neat.

I thought this was so neat that I did the German translation for it. YouTube is blocking the original, the mirrors and took down my translated version because of GEMA & EMI.

I have the code somewhere. by BadDoggie (2.00 / 0) #18 Sat Sep 22, 2012 at 09:26:25 PM EST
I even got it to work in Commie-Lunix-MatLab-ripoff-software but I don't get how to do the drawing. I set a core-2 or core-4 to work on it at high-prio for a week and got some interesting clocks, like a seriously accurate 4-hander in under 20 gears.

comment update: can't find the code yet. Will keep looking and contact cdk. Also, veoh sucks ass-nuggets.
