Drat. I've been busy. Quarterly reporting stuff (continued). I skipped a couple meetings with VPs and stuff where I was listed as optional, even. Don't need to be in them, esp. as I'm leaving, but these meetings are always interesting. Basically, we're interviewing them to figure out what stuff (data, reporting, analytics) they need or would want from us to manage their people.

Apparently this last one was intersting.

Well, anyway, I guess I'll quit on Monday.

I discussed, on my web-log, my poor opinion of Rod Dreher and of my support of the Synod of $NATIONAL_CHURCH in their request, which was granted, that the head of $NATIONAL_CHURCH resign and I got the most hilarious set of comments ever. Several of us have been quoting lines from it to each other all day. Here are a few examples (each line is a different quote - this is not a sequence):

You can't delete the future. You can either live it or hide from it and try to escape. But the past is over.

An answer to a harangue does not invite a dialogue, only a response to a heterodox diatribe.

HUMBLE YOURSELF.

Hardly, but you COULD BE BROUGHT BEFORE A SPIRITUAL COURT FOR YOUR AIDING AND ABETTING OF REBELLION AND YOUR TEACHING OF HETERODOX ECCLESIOLOGY IN THE PLACE OF THE CANONICAL ORDER OF THE CHURCH.

Get an Orthodox formation before you write in smugness again!

Uh, there are a lot more, but I won't quote, but it gets pretty funny. HUMBLE YOURSELF.

Okay, I think it's time to go. Toodles, cadets.

I'll see you all (or you "some") at ChiHuSiMeet tomorrow. Remember, it's Bastille Day, wear your culottes.

as "Choosey", calling to mind the advertising slogan, "Choosey moms choose Jif" (a brand of peanut butter).

I now know what the noise that is usually spelled "lolwhut" sounds like. --Kellnerin
