Afterwards I celebrated with lunch at Five Guys. French fries are great at absorbing stress in the short term.
The past couple of days as I've been gearing up for the checkride have been kind of a wash, exercise/diet-wise. I get back on the horse today, though.
It may be only July 11th but in my mind it feels like the whole month has already flown by and therefore I'm not making any progress on the huge backlog of stuff I wanted to do this summer, although in reality I have been getting many things done, they just are the low hanging fruit so the big things still loom. However, there's really nothing to be done about that because I am still using all of my free time and extra vacation time/work schedule flexibility to finish flight training and stay (more or less) in good fitness.
