The Carolina Rebellion was fantastic. I didn't even realize that I really love head-banger music as much as I do. My favorites were Korn, Staind, POD, Chevelle, and Shinedown. I'm not crazy about Five Finger Death Punch but I enjoyed their performance live. Slash and Evanescence was ok, but I wasn't impressed with them live. All in all it was phenomenal experience.
The big surprise group for me was Chevelle. To be honest with you, I had no clue how much I like their music. When they play "Red", "Send the Pain Below" and "Face to the Floor", I was like floored with their performance. To top it off my friend and I went by the radio station's booth that was hosting the event and entered into the contest to do a meet and greet with CHEVELLE. I won and I got to bring my friend along. I was so excited to meet the band that I barely said a word. The guys from the band were so nice. I felt kind of bad afterwards. Those poor, young boys had to have a fan photo session with a couple of forty-something women instead cute twenty-something groupies. Such is life as they say.
Currently reading "Berried to the Hilt" by Karen MacInerney. I really like this series of murder mystery. I recommend it if you are looking for something to read.
That's all I have to say tonight. I have to go to bed now.
