Working life

My job, that is.

Feels weird.

I liked my job. I liked the people. It's been over 6 years, that's a damn fine run for the games industry. But it's time to move on. I need a change.

The new job is, in no particular order: closer to my family, 10% more pay, 5 days more holiday, and (what sounds like, fingers crossed) more interesting/challenging work.

Hey cool. by technician (4.00 / 1) #8 Wed Dec 05, 2012 at 10:03:36 AM EST
Sounds like a good change.

We had a developer working for us that changed jobs every two years just to keep his skills sharp and to stay interested. Talking to him, he made it sound like a fine plan; he was always learning, not just new development but new people skills and organizational agility.

Congrats! (nt) by ucblockhead (4.00 / 1) #12 Wed Dec 05, 2012 at 12:55:50 PM EST
