One of the things that bangs on about the former UKian and now USian Empire, in globally connected organisations, is the use of English.

It's OK in code, people for whom English is a foreign language will often just C&P specs into class and structure definitions.

It's when you have custom error messages that it all falls apart.

"Serious: #595- User not permissioned.  This is an Exciting Error".

I'm sure it is.

Gave me a laugh, anyways. 

In other news, there is a strong management movement to "Right Shoring".

Is this a move to the East Coast of Cntral Business Districts?

communication is bad enough when I have to work with people on the east coast. Add 12 hour time shift, different language, culture (with uh, different "negotiation tactics") and it's a fucking mess.
