So I did my taxes over the weekend. If I did them right, I owe an additional $22 to the feds and $241 to the state. I'll double-check those figures to make sure I don't go to jail, but those look right. The state one I haven't done rigorously yet, there might be some credits I'm missing.

The wifing unit has been digging through some of her old stuff and getting rid of it. Huzzah. She had a lot of crap she'll just never get around to using.

More chess. I showed my chess wallet to one of my friends and he was like DUUUUUUUDE and went and got one himself. Those things are pretty sweet.

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, more of the same ol' thing. Okay, I have a slight problem, though. I thought their phone message said 2:15, so I arranged to be out of work at that time, but I just looked at the card and it says 4:15. The office is closed right now. I'm going to call tomorrow. That would indeed be easier for me, I guess.

There was a pretty good storm yesterday. It was in the 70s all day and today it's in the 50s. A massive thunderstorm at 11pm explained the drop.

I will get fairly serious about studying for math stuff for the next entire month. I will try to do at least two pages each day of solving problems. I have about 300 pages of problems and about 40 days. I don't have to solve all the problems. Some days I will solve more, but 2 pages each day is the minimum. If I could do 150 pages, that would be super. I'm pretty much not going to go anywhere and will only do chess on the train or something, maybe a little besides that to relax. But mostly what I'm going to be doing when I get home is plopping down somewhere with a sheaf of paper and a calculator...

Speaking of chess, I am almost done with CT Art. I have, like, 25 problems left, all at level 90 and above. Then I'll plow through it again, maybe just through level 50. I don't think there's much point in going further than that if you're mostly trying to drill the patterns into your head.

I've just gotta say, I'm pretty awesome sometimes.

And paid over $12k.

Being self-employed sucks sometimes.
